We are a family-run business offering pet transportation at highly competitive rates. Britt’s Pet & Animal Taxi offers a personal, professional and caring service for your much loved pets and animals. We provide airport transfers, Kennel transfers and vet trip services as well as rabbit boarding. Your animals will be in good hands with Britt who has over 35 years’ experience as a nurse and zookeeper.

The business operates in Sydney Metro and Greater Sydney Metro Areas Central Coast and Newcastle areas . Britt’s business also can offers individual transport around the state of NSW.

Airport Transfers.

We provide individual pet transportation to airports within Sydney or Newcastle at very competitive prices. We will also organise your pet’s travel for you on request.
Airport pet transportation may include one passenger on request.

Rabbit Boarding

We offer rabbit and guinea pig boarding at our Lisarow Base with pick up and delivery services available from Sydney and the Central Coast.

Please note that we do not offer cat or dog boarding.

Vet Trips

We will take your pet on its own to the vets or you and your pet (one owner per trip), servicing the Central Coast, North Shore and Newcastle. Other areas on request only.
Tolls are charged on return trips where needed. Call outs may vary to cover time.
Specialist trips are available for all areas of Newcastle, Hunter, Sydney, Central Coast.

Long Distance

Does your pet need picking up from the breeder? We are your puppy and pet transportation specialists. We offer long distance NSW country pet transportation from breeders, rescues or if you are simply moving house.
We transport all breeds of dogs, cats, puppies and kittens, birds, reptiles.
We transport pets that need to go to other states on request(by organising airline transport or linking to other interstate road transporters.

please note: Some breeds are banned from flying by airlines. (brachycephalic Breeds).

We operate individual services, as well as transportation to country boarding kennels. Move your pet family as a whole within  NSW.

How to Book Your Taxi

Britt’s Pet & Animal Taxi operates by appointment only and bookings are taken in advance, preferably with at least 24 hours’ notice.  Longer notice is required for peak holiday periods. (Please see relevant service page for suggested times.)

Our taxi operates:

Monday to Friday: 8.30am – 4pm
Saturday: 9.30am – 1pm

Closed: Sundays and all public holidays.

All jobs by appointment only.

Surcharges apply outside operational hours if accepted.

Which animals does Britt’s Pet and Animal Taxi transport?

Our taxi holds small to medium animals such as dogs – St Bernards and Great Danes are possible, cats, birds and other pets. We also take small farm animals.
**Please note that we are unable to transport horses.

We offer individual pet transportation or pet family transfers to and from your destination. This means that it will only be your pet or pet family travelling with us at any one time – we will not be transporting other animals at the same time. We take the most direct routes to ensure as little travel time as possible for the wellbeing of your animals.

In some instances, we will allow the owner to accompany us. However, this is limited to one owner only.

Long Distance Pet Transfers

Long distance individual pet transfers and  are catered for  on Demand Scheduled Weekly mostly.

With our long distance jobs we may request to meet you at a central location.

Semen transfer services available, however, you must have your own shipper or chilled storage container.

Vet transfers on the Central Coast, Newcastle, North Shore and Northern Suburbs of Sydney plus other areas of Sydney are available. Please note that surcharges may apply to cover tolls or longer call out times.

Vet specialist transfers are available from all areas of Sydney, Central Coast, Newcastle, the Hunter region and other areas. Please just ask.

Specialist transfers are available for all areas (for non-critical patients – our taxi does not carry oxygen).

Your beloved pets and animals will be in good hands with Britt who is a TAFE qualified animal nurse and zookeeper, holding a current Pet First Aid Certificate. An experienced pet taxi driver with over 35 years’ experience within the animal industry.

Your animals are precious and you can feel confident that every single animal will be in safe hands whilst in our care. If your request is not something we handle, we will provide you with advice.

We offer transfers locally, across Sydney Metro and Greater Metro areas, the Central Coast, Wollongong, Newcastle and across NSW as part of our long distance service.

Please be aware that surcharges apply to bookings outside our regular hours and for immediate or emergency bookings. Surcharges apply if booking is possible.

For local vet visits, we are currently only servicing Northern Sydney and Central Coast.
